Dr. Ingie El-Khashab, a native Texan graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in biomedical science. She then spent four years at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine obtaining her degree in podiatric medicine. Her podiatric career began immediately after graduating from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and completing her 3-year surgical residency at the Atlanta VA Medical Center in 2005. She served as chief resident of her residency program in 2004. Throughout the last few years she has served in numerous practices as both primary staff and in supplemental capacities. She is a staff member at DeKalb Medical Center and has served on the panel physician group at Atlanta Medical Center’s Wound Care Center. These activities have allowed her to garnish additional training and skills in: comprehensive wound care, diabetic limb preservation, and Hyperbaric Oxygen treatment for prevention of limb loss.
